Can you believe that we are halfway through October!?! That means Halloween will be here in no time! What are your Halloween plans? Halloween is on a Monday this year 😲 which means kids we will exhausted going to school the next day.

Now, I want to know is your family the type to dress up in a family themed costume or just the kids dress up? Come to my facebook group and let me know how your family does Halloween Smart Moms Planning Disney & Universal with Girls.

We are a full on everyone in the family dresses up and we pick a theme every year! Mostly it's Disney themed but one year my youngest was obsessed with Willy Wonka so we dressed up like those characters. Also when I say the family that also means our English Bulldog gets a costume too! Check out some of our past Halloween Costumes.

Cruise update:

We are officially under 30 days and that means that I could check in to our cruise. At exactly midnight you could start checking in. There are a few reasons I was that crazy person up at midnight to check in....

So I decided to check in right at midnight because I had been reading how intense it was and all the documentation you needed to upload. But honestly I was worried for no reason. Disney makes the process very easy and straightforward. Here are the steps I needed to take to check in:

  1. Guest Information: Here you upload all pictures of proof of citizenship. Which can be your passport or your birth certificate and another form of ID like your driver's license. You will also need a headshot of everyone in your group to upload to their info. Disney reviews all documentation and will email you if anything needs to be updated or added.

  2. Onboard Account: Is where you set who is allowed to charge back to the room and who is responsible for paying for who. Like in my situation one of my girls is in the other stateroom with my aunt because the stateroom only sleeps 4. So I indicated that I would be paying for her charges. This is where you would set up your card to keep on file or you can put cash and add a card later.

  3. Traveling with Children: Here is where I indicated who was allowed to take my children off the ship or if you have older children like my goddaughter is 16 I indicated that she could disembark on her own if she chooses. Disney makes it very safe to set up guidelines to keep your children safe. Here you also register your children for the youth club activities. I gave a code word and who can drop off and pick up my children from the youth club. Disney has these amazing. youth clubs that honestly my children love going and hubby and I get to also have some time to ourselves on our vacation. Now does that mean we go on the Aquaduck without the kids?!?! You bet your bottom dollar!!

  4. Travel plans is where you let Disney know how you will be arriving and leaving. You let them know if flying, driving, or shuttling in and what are your plans when you disembark the ship.

  5. Port Arrival time: To me this was the most important part because I wanted the earliest time so we can get as much time on the ship as possible. Luckily, I was able to snag an 11:15 arrival time and boarding group 7.

  6. Cruise Contract: You click you agree to the contract and check in is done!

It literally took me 30 minutes to check in both of our staterooms. So really it's not a big deal!

I also wanted to be on at midnight because 30 days from the trip you can book the Royal Gathering. This event is a free event but you must pre register for it. All the princesses gather in the atrium where you get to meet each one, chat, and take pictures. For my 3 princess loving girls this was a must. Glad I did it early because I was able to snag a day 3 at 1:45 pm. My friends who did it in the morning were only able to get a day 6 reservation. Stay tuned next week I will be talking about the excursions and onboard fun we booked!

This upcoming week I'm also preparing to go on a Rewards Trip that I earned from my agency for being a top agent. Each month agents are chosen to go on a trip and they are so much fun! I get to meet other agents that sometimes I only know through text messages or zoom meetings. We also have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with LJ to get advice on where we should go next in our business. I was chosen for the very 1st rewards trip back in January 2021 and that trip changed my life. The agents I met there are now my closest friends and the meeting with LJ changed my business in a huge way! So many great things have happened since then and I'm truly grateful for Smart Moms. Also, what an amazing gift from LJ the owner of Smart Moms to do this monthly for her agents.

From that very 1st Rewards Trip where I met LJ and all these ladies to now! What an adventure it has been and I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us. These ladies here have changed my life! So very thankful Smart Moms brought us together!

What an exciting week it was! Tons to do in the next few weeks so stay tuned! I leave you with a quote:

“There are friends, there is family, and there are friends that become family."

Have a great week everyone! All the Pixie Dust, Jillian
