Was December crazy for you too? 😜

Oh my goodness what a whirlwind of a December it has been! Between the holidays and Mom life its been chaotic. Let me ask you why does it feel like when you are the busiest things just get more chaotic! Take a look...

On top of how busy December is Isabella fractured her elbow in 2 places. But the topper of this story is that she walked around with it for a week and we didn't know. She fell at school on a Friday she just said her arm was sore. There was no swelling, no bruising nothing. But the following Thursday the moment I picked her up she said her arm was hurting and the pain was shooting up her arm. At that moment I knew something was fractured. But I kid you not this girl was moving her arm around like nothing. I took her to urgent care still thinking they are going to think I'm a hypochondriac because she was moving her arm all around during the X-ray. But they came back saying she was a strong girl to be walking around with 2 fractures in her elbow. So the next day we were off to get a cast because apparently I couldn't get it the same day because there is a shortage of cast technicians. 😱 They splinted her and luckily I called right at 7 am the next day and they squeezed her in. She has it on for 3 weeks and hopefully will come off Jan. 6. This pic she was so excited to have a cast until like day 2 when she is like this is not fun. LOL

How was everyone's Christmas? We had a nice one. For the 1st time in 45 years it was the coldest it has ever been here in South Florida for Christmas. It was in the 40's for us. I know we were not as cold as up north and I hope everyone stayed safe in that blizzard. The girls loved their gifts and this year I wanted to focus more on experiences than gifts. So I surprised the girls with a Disneyland trip next summer. They have been wanting to go forever! Also hubby and I are going to Washington D.C. for our anniversary just us at the end of March. Talking about 2023 can you believe it's almost here? As 2022 comes to an end I want you to look at 2023 not just a fresh start but to tell yourself everyday not to give up! Follow your dreams and don't settle. If you are not happy with what you are doing now don't feel like you have to stay. Make the change needed. Remember your mental health matters! Don't be afraid to take the plunge, sometimes the biggest risks bring the biggest rewards. I'm thankful for so many things ⬇️
